No. There is no endless feed, no recommendation algorithm, no suggested strangers, no ads, no race for likes or followers.

Nobody "discovers" you on Offinity: you consciously choose the people who can follow your journey.

A private diary is usually kept to yourself. Offinity starts from a different intuition: projects move forward better when you dare to share them with a few well-chosen people.

You write as you would in a diary — progress, doubts, decisions, learnings — but the people you have chosen can read you, react, and offer an outside perspective.

Anyone carrying something over time: starting a business, a career change, going back to school, a non-profit project, writing a book, a creative project, personal development, a real-estate project…

No project is too small. What matters is not its scale, but that it matters to you — and that you'd rather not carry it alone.

Offinity doesn't claim to tell you what to do. It lets you be accompanied by humans you have chosen — people who know your journey and can become its attentive witnesses.

No. Offinity is not designed to grow your network.

It doesn't suggest strangers, and nobody enters your circle unless you have decided so.

Start with a simple question:

Who do I want as a witness to my journey?

It could be a close friend, a mentor, a family member, a business partner, or a former colleague.

Then:

1. set a first goal;
2. write a first entry — even three lines;
3. invite one or two people whose perspective matters to you.

Everything else can wait.

It's what gives your journal a common thread.

It can be very concrete — "launch my business before June" — or more open — "figure out what I want to do with my career".

The goal isn't there to lock you into an outcome: it simply gives context to the people accompanying you.

Yes. You can have several goals and involve different people depending on the topic: colleagues on a professional project, a mentor on a new business, someone close on something more personal.

There is no imposed rhythm.

Regularity can make the journal more useful, but Offinity doesn't try to create a streak you mustn't break, or pull you back into the app artificially.

The most useful entries aren't necessarily the most flattering. It's often precisely when things aren't clear that an outside perspective is most valuable.

Nothing is public, nothing is indexed by search engines, and no algorithm pushes your entries to strangers.

You stay in control of your audience.

You can then give a group access to certain entries when it's relevant, without opening up your whole journal.

Offinity is designed to limit, as much as possible, the circulation of your data outside the environment needed to run the service.

AI can be used, for example, to translate an entry into the language of a member of your circle, or to produce certain summaries. AI-generated content is identified as such.

AI is not meant to write your journal in your place, or to make decisions for you.

Offinity is available in French, English, and Vietnamese, and an entry can be translated so that everyone can read it in their own language.

So write in whichever language comes naturally to you.

Yes. You can request an export of your data and delete your account, in accordance with the GDPR.

Offinity is accessible without financial barriers — and without a free version deliberately crippled to push you toward a subscription.

Organizations that want their own space can also contribute to funding the project.

No. They need an Offinity account to access what you share with them, but they can simply use the web version in their browser.
